The comic breaks down complex topics related to sexual health, menstruation, consent, and more, creating a space where these conversations can happen openly and without shame.

Through its engaging narrative and relatable characters, Iriza encourages adolescents to stay informed, advocate for themselves, and challenge the stigmas that often surround this topic.

KOTANA BOARD GAME

Kotana is a groundbreaking SRH board game that integrates sexual and reproductive health topics into everyday conversations, much like how we discuss sports or entertainment.
By mixing SRH education with fun gameplay, Kotana breaks down stigma and encourages young people to talk openly and confidently about their bodies and choices.
This innovative approach empowers adolescents to make informed decisions while creating a society that is more aware, inclusive, and free from menstrual stigma and teenage pregnancies.

Kigali Menstruation Station:
Empowering Adolescents through SRHR Education

Launched on May 28, 2022, Kigali Menstruation Station is a safe, supportive space dedicated to educating adolescents on sexual and reproductive health, with a focus on menstruation. It welcomes over 2,000 visitors and offers a #PeriodProud and #PeriodSupportive environment where both boys and girls can engage in open, stigma-free conversations.

Key features include Experience Chambers for hands-on learning, a Safe Space for one-on-one consultations, and a Creative Space where teen mothers can learn sewing skills.
The station also provides free menstrual materials through period-proofed bathrooms and educational tools like Iriza comic books and the Kotana board game.

Kigali Menstruation Station is more than just a facility; it's a community that empowers young people to break stigma, manage their menstrual health with dignity, and gain the knowledge they need to make informed choices.
